osTicket and eTicket Upgrade Issue

We've located and fixed an error that occurs during upgrades from osTicket to eTicket. This is due to an unset root_url in the ticket_config database table. We also posted it to the eTicket site on SourceForge which relates to the problem. This problem only occurs after the upgrade, but has not yet been fixed in a released version.

Plink Magic 3.6 is now being released with the lastest in SHA encryption methods, making this version of Plink Media's product even tighter. With this upgrade, Plink Magic has transitioned from the old standard of MD5 encryption to the new age. While older versions are still completely secure, PHP, Plink Magic's platform, has made using the more robust SHA encryption easily available.

Microsoft IE Flash Interactivity Issue

Resulting from a Microsoft patent war, there has been a Windows update that has made Flash (animated content) non-interactive until clicked on. A huge hinderance to Flash enabled sites being viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer all over the world, this problem does not effect other browsers like Mozilla Firefox (recommended) or Opera. Adobe (formerly Macromedia) has released an official Javascript work-around for this glitch. Please contact us if you would like to have this official fix intalled on your Flash enabled website.
